This doesnt seem to work in windows 8, was hoping to make my taskbar small, but increase the icon size to be bigger to more proportionately fill out the task bar.

A nifty little bit of kit, quite handy too...At one point I set the settings up too high and my thumbnails were superhuge, which kind of made me freak out a bit lol. So I just fiddled with the top two settings and now my thumbnails appear much better on my little 1366/768 display. Not the only thing I've downloaded by you - you do a lot of good stuff, thanks!

I have a small problem. I used this application, I changed the text height from 16 to 20, applied the change, and my taskbar completely disappeared. I cannot figure out how to get it back either. Help Please!

Try going to Task Manager (ctrl+shift+esc) and "end process" on "explorer.exe" (in the Processes tab), then go to File > New Task and type "explorer.exe" and press enter. This should bring back the taskbar. If not, you have to log off and log on again.
