Windows 7 Aero Blur Tweaker is a free tiny portable tool that allows you to hide/show aero blur in Windows 7 with one click.

How to hide blur:

  1. Run the tool.
  2. Click on Hide Blur.
  3. Now the blur will be hidden in all the windows.


How to show blur:

  1. Run the tool.
  2. Click on Show Blur.
  3. Now the blur will be shown in all the windows.

hello there,the blur from the taskbar is still there :( i also try aerotuner and nothing happend :( pls help.thank you!

Unfortunately, currently there is no way to completely remove the blur from the taskbar.

Nice tool. Is there any way for you to make a tool that removes the blur from the taskbar completely? I've been trying to do this for quite some time, but don't think it's possible.

Error: "Access to file 'C:\Windows\system32\dwm.exe' is denied" :(
I'm running the software as administrator (on Windows 7 Professional x64)

Try manually taking ownership of that file.

I don't really like these methods. But it doesn't matter now, because I don't have any computer to test it (I had to send my one for repairing) ^^;
