Windows 7 Folder Background Changer is a free tiny portable tool that allows you to change any folder's background & text color in Windows 7/Vista.
How to use:
Run the tool as administrator. If you have run this tool for the first time then it will restart Explorer.
Click on Browse and browse for the folder of which you want to change the background/text color.
Click on Change Background Image and browse for the image that you want to set as the background of the folder.
Click on the Black color rectangle and select the color that you want to set as the text color of the folder.
If you want to display a shadow under the text of all the items in the folder, select Show Shadow Under Text. This option will only work with icons view.
If you want the style of this folder to be applied to all the sub-folders, select Apply To Sub Folders.
just like to pre warn ppl that use this app, it crashed my explorer causing major issues need to refresh every time I opened a folder! My O.S is win7 professional x64 kishan I love you apps but this one caused more head aches than it was worth please review and fix these major issues
Hi, I doesn't work with me i tried many times with the suggestions you gave to others. I am using windows 7 Starter though, maybe it doesn't support it?
It has a bug. when i set a picture as background , i can not double click a file/folder to open it when the window lost focus. when i uninstall this program , i cound double click on a file/folder which is lost focus.
i have downloaded this file but i can not apply picture in my subfolder, actually the above W7FBC box have only two option but i got one more option ...below that two option..i got "Uninstall" option...... How can i do this......please answer me...
