AutoSaver is a free portable tool that saves the file on which you are working after an interval of time that you can set. It works on all apps that support the hotkey CTRL + s.
How to use:
Run the tool.
Click on the floppy icon in the system tray.
Select the Save Interval from the list.
If you want the tool to run everytime Windows starts up then select Run When Windows Starts.
Click Hide to hide the tool.
It will now press CTRL + s after the interval of time you have set.
I agree with ~theNoiC that it needs blacklist. Also (or at least this if not blacklist) a check-box that ask for permission to save every time. The reason is that for some applications that works with large file sizes (like Photoshop) saving is time consuming (I guess that is the reason it does not have its own auto-save). So it would be great to have a save reminder that works with applications that I choose.
as a writer/someone adding things in notepads to my list of movies, tv-shows, things im thankful for, books to read, bucketlist ect this is soooo flippin (euphemism) useful; especially when you have a shady computer that overheads and irregular power (surges n brownouts). if i wasnt broke id push a check your way heh. ty Kishan, from a guy who never says ty to anyone, for all your hard work. you give us results and always eager to fix bugs in products. big luv ~Foxtrot
